Only on Tuesdays mid-May through October!

From mid-May through October, weather permitting, Tuesday nights at The Tavern take on a whole different feel. Our regular menu takes the night off while we transform the Tavern into a relaxed and inviting spot for our Cook Your Own Steak Night.

The TVs go off, the music turns down to a relaxing background level, and the atmosphere becomes perfect for a date night, a dinner with friends, or simply a chance to slow down and enjoy a great meal. In a small mountain community with limited dining options, we’re happy to offer something a little different one night a week. Come enjoy a steak, enjoy the company, and experience a quieter side of The Tavern.

What Do Our Customers Think?

“There is everything to love about the Tavern, from the owners Rich and Kerrie, to the community they’ve built, to the musical acts they continuously bring up to the mountain, to the quaint and cozy cabins they offer. My review will speak strictly to the AMAZING steak and accompanying sides I experienced this week on Tuesday’s “Cook Your Own Steak” night. The cut and seasoning of the steak was fantastic and rivals anything I’ve had in Denver, the potato gratin cups could light up an entire meal (and did), and experience of hanging out with Rich and guests outside cooking is what mountain living is all about. Kudos the Marrs’ and keep up the great work!”
